Josi   Green

 

   One could easily describe him as a quiet kid who makes music, but there's more. Josi Green comes from the heart of Chicago, which is now one of the most violent cities in America. He uses his music to tell stories from his street experiences in order to change the "Chi state of mind". His sound follows very smooth production with a semi high pitched voice that is very distinct. Most people say "you can tell when he's on the track, he has a sound."  With very few of the "I don't care" or "party" type records, most of his songs are about real life events that he's either seen or lived. He is inspired by many artists but his two favorites are Lupe Fiasco and Music Soulchild.
